Here are songs that came out this week that made me stop.

Song -Dream Come True by Langhorne Slim. This one has an interesting swing to it. Not boring, and pretty good plucking on the guitar. Sonically sounds nice as well.

Song -GZ by JID. This song is amazing. Background music is insane and the way everything revolves around and keeps you saying "what next??". The whole ablumn is good.

Song -Aint Enough Road by Jordan Davis. Classic trying to escape your memory song but still good. Chorus is making me sing along.

Song -Caramel by Conan Gray. From the very first two beats the drumming is nice; the chorus makes up for a slow verse and he does mix up the pace to keep it interesting.

One Month later; new music? Let's hit it:

Song- Outlaw Overture by MGK: MGK getting his Blink on. I love the intro. Heartfelt lyrics, like normal for MGK. Has an epic guitar feel, like the Who. Goes back to rap at the end. Interesting.

Album- Metro Boomin: A Futuristic Summa. Best new album by far. 'Stealin all the Swag' is insane. For some reason, this album is a happy experience. All of the artists who support on this album on are point. Swagger Jacker?

Album- Charlie Crocket: A Dollar A Day. I love his voice on this album.

Song- Old Habits by Alan Walker, Farruko and Sofia Reyes. Interesting song. Can't put it down.

Song- White Horses by Wolf Alice. The first time I heard this I thought it was boring but that I'd probably like it on second listen. I like it on second listen. So good.

Songs: Buddha M!nd, Don't Stray Away (prod. Sapjer) by Marino Wong. This person puts out awesome songs each time. I don't think any of his songs are a disappointment. Check him out.

It used to be, the "hot 8 at 8" or the "7 at 7 that don't suck".

That, and the basement of barnes and noble, and maybe also the wall at recycled sounds.

Now? I think the best new music is on soundcloud.

Folks are always trying to get their music heard, through all kinds of Reddit links such as "check out my new song" etc. And guess what? Many of them are really good. You'd never hear them this early on youtube music.

Don't like Justin Beiber? HIs new song 'Daisies' is actually pretty good. Is saying "actually" an insult? With Justin Beiber, I don't think so. The song sounds like Ra Ra Riot. Is that weird?

Wet Leg shows up catchy with 'Mangetout'. This song sounds bashy. They hate some of these dudes.

It's July- where is the feel good hit of the summer?

In order to be the SUMMER hit, it has to blow up late spring or in summer.

So, no Shaboozey (sorry Shaboozey), probably no Chappell Roan (come on, it's good but the statue of limitations for summer is very short).

My vote: Benson Boone.

'Beautiful things'? No too old.

'Mystical Magical'? No have not heard it yet.

'Sorry I'm Here For Someone Else?' Getting close, but maybe that is too old, in terms of hotness.
